Excellent cable - eliminates poor connections by having converters. Using it as cable between my computer and my stereo.
Worth the extra money December 6, 2000 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
If you're like me, you are probably wondering if these little cables are actually worth the money. I was using cheap thin wired connections before, and my receiver would have LOTS of background noise and buzzing, so I thought I'd go ahead and give these things a shot. Afterall, I listen to MP3's all the time on my computer through my high end receiver. I'll tell you what, these things work great, and are worth the extra money. Now keep in mind, I'm an audiophile who is very picky about sounds. So for the casual listener who doesn't mind occasional background hissing or lack of crystal clear sound transfer from your computer to your receiver, you might be able to find a cheaper connection. But once again, I think the extra $$ is well worth it and I HIGHLY recomend these. Your only concern here is an economical one. As far as the product is concerned, these things are top notch.
Great sound, easy setup February 2, 2002 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Really simple to set up, and the sound is great. I have an IBM T20 laptop computer. The internal speakers for a laptop are pretty good, but for listening to high fidelity audio, they just don't make the grade. I also have Harman/Kardon computer speakers; they're better than the laptop's internal speakers, but still nowhere near the rich sound you get from your hifi. Then I connected the 10ft Monster Cable from my laptop to my Yamaha Amp. Wow! I have all my CDs ripped as MP3s on my laptop - from now on, this is how I will be listening to my music. The sound is superb - a different league from what you're used to from a laptop/computer. Maybe it's my great Amp, maybe it's my great laptop, but the sound is rich and clear. This cable was worth every penny.
Great Stuff! September 29, 2003 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a really cool piece of gear! Literally, you just plug it in, and you're set for great music. I have a Sony VAIO laptop w/ wireless connection to the internet. I placed my laptop near my Bose Lifestyle and hooked up the cable within 30 seconds (the cable plugs into the headphone slot in the computer). Great sound! Sounds just like a CD!
Great for laptop to speakers connection March 31, 2008 I used this to connect my laptop to my speakers for my TV. Works perfect and just the right amount of length.
